I have a small natural light photography studio in the heart of downtown Wenatchee, Washington. A corner studio with windows that spread across the 220 square foot space fill the room with beautiful sun light. I recently remodeled my studio to give it a whimsical feel. I added weathered white oak flooring from Columbia River Interiors, painted the walls in my favorite shades of white, added a French linen sofa, chair, and two benches ordered from Davis Furniture , and hung a chandelier.
Let’s talk about white paint for a moment. Do you know how hard it is to find the perfect shade of white? I knew I wanted to use my space as a natural light photography studio at times. I did months of research, reading blogs, searching on pinterest for the perfect shades of white and I found them!!! I painted my walls and ceiling Westhighland White with Sherwin Williams Super Paint in Velvet Finish. I painted the trim in Pale Oak by Benjamin Moore using Sherwin Williams Pro Classic Trim & Door Paint The outcome was the perfect soft white space, not too warm, or too cool, perfection.
