Miles and Eleanor had the most romantic wedding at Tsillan Cellars winery overlooking Lake Chelan. Their September wedding was the perfect celebration to fall. Eleanor’s bouquet made a statement with a cafe au lait dahlia in the center surrounded by zinnias, garden roses, and greens.

Eleanor wore the Gabrielle the most gorgeous Leanne Marshall wedding gown. This gown was seen on Julianne Hough on Dancing With the Stars, and on Shaun Robinson on the Oscar red carpet. A dress fit for the stars, Eleanor wore this ivory and silk-lined, Leanne Marshall wedding dress with confidence and elegance.

Miles and Eleanor’s first look was sweet and simple. His expression says it all. Miles was proud, happy, and thankful for his bride to be.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. September is always my favorite month for weddings. Wenatchee, Chelan, and Leavenworth have over 300 days of sunshine a year. Beautiful weather makes Lake Chelan the perfect wedding destination for Seattle brides.

You can see that Miles and Eleanor were beautifully sunlit during their ceremony. As a film photographer, I embrace a sunny ceremony. Film loves light and brings out all of the beautiful colors of a wedding day.

After the ceremony, we met at the winery entrance for family formals. As a mom of three boys, I have a soft spot for the mother of the groom. I always make sure to snag a portrait of them.

Miles and Eleanor’s wedding reception was romantic and styled beautifully with french macarons from Cake Chic Studio.

As the sun dipped behind Lake Chelan we gathered up the bridal party for some sunset portraits. Photographed on Portra 800 you can get a glimpse of that glow on the horizon. Because we were losing light quickly I had my film lab push each roll of Portra 800 +2 stops to add contrast.

Miles and Eleanor had the most romantic wedding at Tsillan Cellars winery. As a film photographer, I am grateful for wonderful couples who share a love for fine art wedding photography.
