On our second day of the Dreamchasers Workshop we went out to Rose Ranch in South Bend, Washington for a whimsical summer styled bridal shoot. Even though it was August the temperature was in true coast fashion, overcast at 68 degrees. Honestly, I loved it, the week prior I was in Tucson, where it was 117 degrees. Emma planned and styled this beautiful set around her families ranch in the midst of the cattle.
I especially enjoyed photographing the cows, they took a liking to me, I am sure because they thought I was going to feed them. Ha!
A small wood table was styled up against the side of the white barn, featuring vintage blue glass, gold flat wear, delicate china, and artichokes and plums for color. I fell in love with all the pops of color on the table. I captured some behind the scenes while Emma got photos of her florist and stylist.
It was really fun to take a step back and capture all the little moments happening in between.
Our couple arrived once all the attendees had time to photograph the details. They were sweet and had beautiful body language. It can’t be easy having a dozen photographers taking pictures as you embrace, but these two were incredible. Emma did such a great job leading the attendees and allowing everyone to get their shots before moving on and re-directing the couple.
I love having these two perspectives. The behind the scenes and the real deal.
