The other day I was given a penny and asked to share something about the year stamped on that penny.  My year was 2013, at first I was speechless since we are only 6 months into the year, but a second later a flood of memories poured in.  I got to spend most of winter traveling with a great friend and photographer Taliah! I am a little behind on sharing my experiences from United but hey, better late than never :  ) On February 22, 2013 Taliah and I flew to Santa Barbara for United, a conference for photographers put on by Showit, my website company, it feels silly calling Showit a comapny, because it is so much more, it is a community.  For one week I lived fearlessly, got too little sleep, ate well, walked on the beach at sunrise and sunset, photographed beautiful people, was inspired and uplifted.  I met people who I will forever call my friends, got to photograph along side some of industry’s top photographers, stayed at the same hotel that the movie No strings attached was filmed (think Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, betcha didn’t know that :  )
